Panelists will discuss the ‘bad boy’ or ‘bad girl’ trope that remains a staple of Wattpad romances and will likely turn up in many of this year’s Wattys stories. We’ll focus on why we love these characters, the author’s responsibility in how they’re portrayed, and how changing gender roles affect the trope in stories today.
